About Our Holmdel Financial Advisory Practice
We work with individuals, couples, families, business owners and retirees. Every engagement starts with a record of what we found in your accounts and continues with a record of what we changed and why, so you can check our work line by line.

How we work, and why we keep the record
Most people who sit down with us have money spread across several places: a 401(k) from a former employer, an IRA, a brokerage account, a cash value life policy, sometimes a business retirement plan. The first job is to see all of it together. We capture each statement as it stands on the day we start, including holdings, cost basis, fees and beneficiary designations, and that snapshot goes into your file.
Then we explain what the snapshot shows. It might be an older fund with a higher expense ratio than a similar option in the same plan, two accounts holding the same large-cap stocks, or a beneficiary form that still names someone it should not. We point to the exact line on the statement where we found it, so a finding never rests on our word alone.
When we make a change, we record it the same way: the account before, the trade or form we submitted, and the account after. Over the years your file becomes a running history of your financial plan, each decision dated and explained. If you ever want a second opinion, you can hand that file to anyone and they can follow it.
What you can expect from us
- 01
Credentials stated plainly
Our advisor holds the Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC) designation, a credential focused on retirement income, Social Security timing and withdrawal planning. We are also licensed to sell life insurance. When a recommendation involves a policy we can place, we tell you that up front.
- 02
Before and after, side by side
Review meetings open with the previous snapshot and the current one next to each other. You see what moved because of the market and what moved because of a decision we made together.
- 03
Reasons in writing
Each recommendation comes with the reason behind it: the tax effect, the fee difference, or the risk it adds or removes. If we suggest leaving an account alone, we write down why.
- 04
Your order, your pace
Some clients want every account reviewed at once. Others start with retirement planning and add legacy planning or tax management later, once the first pieces are in place.
At our office, or by phone and video
Meetings take place at our office in Holmdel, or by phone and video if that suits your schedule better. We work with clients from Middletown, Marlboro, Hazlet, Colts Neck, Red Bank, Lincroft, Matawan, Aberdeen, Keyport and Keansburg. Statements can be reviewed on a shared screen, so the documentation works the same way wherever you are sitting.
